The meaning of “Sweet” and the promise at the heart of these stories.
People always ask why I called it the Sweet Series, especially when the stories are filled with danger, secrets, betrayal, and the kind of love that hurts before it heals.
The answer is simple.
The word sweet is not there because the world is soft.
It is there because the love is.
In every book, my characters walk through something hard. Sometimes it is revenge. Sometimes it is grief. Sometimes it is the weight of family expectations, hidden truths, and choices that cannot be undone. They fight. They break. They learn who they are when no one is watching.
And still, there is always something worth saving. That is the sweetness. Not sugar. Not perfection. But the kind of sweetness that shows up after the storm. The kind that feels earned.
What “Sweet” means in this world
In the Sweet Series, “sweet” is the moment that surprises you.
It is a hand reaching out when it would be easier to walk away. It is protection without control. It is loyalty tested under pressure. It is love that stays, even when everything else falls apart.
My characters do not fall in love because life is easy. They fall in love while life is trying to break them. That is why the romance matters. It is not decoration. It is the heartbeat of survival.
Why a series title matters
Each book in the Sweet Series follows a different couple, so every story has its own beginning, its own tension, its own emotional payoff. You can read them as standalones.
But the deeper you go, the more the world unfolds. Familiar faces return. Connections become clearer. History starts to matter. And the line between love and danger gets thinner.
I wanted a title that could hold all of that. Something simple, but strong. Something that could fit a revenge story, a second-chance love story, and a romantic thriller. Something that could grow with the series as the stakes rise.
“Sweet Series” became the umbrella for all of it.

When you pick up a Sweet Series book, I want you to know what you are stepping into.
